Tips & Techniques Tuesday: What is Photopolymer

So you may ask what is Photopolymer I have no clue but they are clear stamps, not just clear mounted rubber stamps but clear stamps.  I use to use them a lot before Stampin' Up! but once I got involved in Stampin' Up! and noticed that the rubber was sharper and clearer stamping I drifted away from them.  Now Stampin' Up! is trying them out. So I bought the Designer Type and thought I would test them out.  Only found one fault and it is not a big one.  You can not mount a full word to stamp all at once, since the extra photopolymer base gets in the way. Here are some photos of what they look like and below is today's video on my comparison.

  3. Oh, thanks for the "scoop". I haven't tried out our new stamps since I had the same experience as you in the past. But the price difference is certainly encouraging ;)

    1. If they hold up as SU says I think it will be good. I did notice that they do stain but it makes them easier to see when you drop them on the floor. I like them. Check out There's A card Thursday Video today and see a great fun card using them.
