Stampin' Addicts Retiring Stamp Set Blog Hop - Just Saying

Well welcome to the Stampin' Addicts Retiring Set Blog Hop.  I know I am sad that some of these sets are retiring but since I also have seen the new catalog, Out with the Old and in with the NEW.

We have 10 participants and if you are are following in order you just came from Yapha and Happy Hour.  Didn't she do a great job on that one.  I just love it. You can find all the listing of participants by clicking here.  I will have the next one listed at the end of this post.

I choose Just Saying for this hop mainly because I really didn't use it much and wanted to.  I love that it came with the matching Word Bubbles Framelits.  I think I used the framelits more than the stamp set so I had to try and use all the stamps in this set. So let me show you what I did.

This first one I really love.  I knew I had to a birthday theme with this paper from Adventure Bound.  I love the trees and who doesn't count the rings for age.

This next one I actually got the idea from Stampin' Up! when they introduced the new catalog. So you may see it again with another stamp set.  I switched it up a little but I really like it  I had a few creations before it which you can see on my Grandma's Rocking Chair blog post where I talk about card design.  I really like the final card though.

Well I said I wanted to use all the stamps and with this final project I did.  Since it is close to Mother's Day I was thinking about my Mother and I remember her having a bunch of key ring fobs always hanging on her purse.  The box in a bag has been making the rounds lately so I also wanted to do one of those so those two really fit.  I did a box in a bag purse and I used one of my favorite papers the Painted Blooms I love that one sheet and this is the first time I cut one, it took courage but I did it, mainly because you can still see most of the flowers. So here is the purse and teh key chain.
But what can go into that purse?  Yes cards can but I was hungry and what better thing to put in a purse than..........

CHOCOLATE

You can get 5 Hershey bars in the purse.  Well you could probably fit 6 but I ate one, before I could try.

I really hope you enjoyed this post and this Stamp Set. Don't forget to get your order in for all these great retiring sets.

Now it is time to HOP over to  Tanya and Little Buddy Birthday.  She did a great job with that set.
