There's A Card Thursday - April 19, 2018 - Beautiful Peacock with a Ribbon Tail

Today we are going to finish the card we started on Tips & Techniques Tuesday.  I call it the Beautiful Peacock with a Ribbon Tail.

I loved this set and I love knowing how I can use ribbon differently.  Making this card is very fun and it is super cute.  I did get the idea from Stampin' Up! at our On-Stage Convention but I did tweak it a little.  So let's see how to do this.

Instructions:

1. With Pacific Point Stamp the Peacock Body on the whisper white just above ½ way up. 
2. With Pacific Point  stamp off then stamp the leaf tail twice and then stamp the eyes on the tail.
3. With Lemon Lime twist stamp the other tail twice and the saying.
4. Take the 3 – 3 ½  Piece of Crushed Curry Chevron ribbon pick a piece of cross thread out of the end and start to unravel.  When you get close to the other end tie a piece of gold thread around it a few times and make a bow.  Then continue to unravel it all.
5. Put a piece of Tear and Tape on the back left side edge of the whisper white.  Now take the long Ribbon and fold it and stick it down creating a ruffle.
6. With Stampin’ Dimensionals attach the whisper white to the Pacific Point Card Base.
7. With Glue Dots attach the tail to the Peacock.

I really love doing different things with ribbon and this is a great one.
