Grandma's Rocking Chair - September 29, 2013 - Grid Paper Review

Product Review - Grid paper
Grid Paper
Stampin' Up sells Grid Paper.  I use it at my classes and for other things.  I use to use just scrap paper or packing paper, as it was free or at least it came in packages, and I didn't know what to do with it and I never throw anything away. Now that Stampin' Up! has gone bubble packaging I don't have a lot of that and I have other uses for what I do have.  For the past year or two I have been using the Grid paper and I love it and so do my stampers.

For one thing I don't have to supply rulers, each piece of grid paper has a built in ruler, on all sides.  Great for designing, you can tell what size will go well with the card.  I have a card base and one layer but I want to do either another layer or a die cut which one will fit best.  For classes I cut all the pieces but some are the same colors and they need to know what each size is so they don't use the wrong size, they can measure them right there.

Another thing,  it is great for writing down notes, either on sizing or supplies you want, all they do then is take the paper home. You can sketch on it if you would like to try something different next time.

You can use it when you need to stamp off your stamp.  Try different ink colors to see what is best with which colors.  Keeps from using a lot of cardstock, when you are not sure of the color combo you want to use.  Also keeps your table free from stray ink.

I don't like throwing it away even when it is all inky.  I use it to make my Quilt cards.

Doesn't matter if it is inky I can lay out my design on the grid paper.  I use the Multipurpose adhesive and then lay out my design on the grid paper.  I can get at least 4 and most of the time 6 cards out of one sheet. and then it lines up perfectly.

I really like the Grid paper and it is only $10.95 for a hundred sheets. If you would like to order it just click here Don't forget to use the hostess code of YSDMHAFX until September 30.
