Today is a big day.  I got the April Paper Pumpkin. Stampin' Up! Click here to see and order. I just love this month's you get to make 12 cards 4 of 3 designs.  I only made one in the video, I am thinking of having a live event this week to make the other 2, check out my facebook page for more information.  https://www.facebook.com/MaryTrautnerStampinUp

So isn't this water coloring great.  I love to water color.

Let's look at the video.

Are you interested in Paper Pumpkin?  Here are a few FAQs.

  • Every kit comes with an exclusive stamp set to use over and over!
  • We also send at least one Classic Stampin’ Spot with every kit. The colors don’t repeat in a 12-month period, so it’s easy to build a collection of colorful ink.
  • Every new subscriber receives a clear block (size D) with their first kit to help you get started and to use throughout your subscription.
  • It’s an incredible value! In addition to a stamp set an ink spot(s), the kits are packed with supplies many to make awesome projects like cards, home décor, gift packaging, and more. For example, our card kits (6+ per year) always include 8 cards—at least!
  • It’s flexible! You can suspend (for a month) or cancel at anytime.
  • Since all the prep work is done, the projects take a shorter time to complete, making it the perfect on-the-go craft. Headed out of town? Grab a kit to create during some downtime. It’s all contained in one little box, so it’s easy to take anywhere!
  • It’s a surprise in your mailbox every month. Because who doesn’t love happy mail?
  • Every month, we share a video to quickly demonstrate how to assemble each kit so that you can pass it along to your subscribers. Just go to PumpkinHowTo.com to link over to our YouTube channel.
  • You can create the project as we intended, or if you’re feeling the urge to get a little creative, head on over to our Pinterest page. We link to our subscribers’ brilliant projects every month.
  • Every subscriber has exclusive access to our selection of past kits. So, when a kit runs out, you can buy more—either as a full kit or a refill (without stamp set and ink). It’s also a great way for you to show your customers the types of kits they can get with a subscription.

Grandma's Rocking Chair - April 23, 20017 - Busy Weekend

This weekend was really on overload for things to do.  Friday was fairly calm though it did snow all day so that was a bit of a bummer.  Friday night was Ladies Night out and we had a good time crafting the night away.

Saturday Started early and busy all day.  First a trip to the Post Office and I could not believe it no one was in line so I actually got in and out in minutes.  Saturday was Meigan's Prom.  We started getting ready about 1:30.  Did her hair and she then did her make up.
Since she was going to the Prom at her boyfriends school none of her friends were going to it but one showed up to help her out.

Jake showed up with his parents for photos before dinner.

They headed to dinner and then to the Prom.  While they went to the prom Don and I went to the last Cheyenne Symphony of the year.  It was Mahler's Second Symphony and it was so good.  I have enjoyed all this years but this one was exceptional.

Sunday even though the day after the prom we were up early I went to early mass because ti was a another big occasion for Meigan today.  She was awarded the Silver Congressional Medal for community service.  She really worked hard for it.  Next year she hopes to finish off her Gold Medal and earn the $2000 scholarship that goes with it.

I know it is hard to see her but she is there.

I had to leave before all 147 got their awards as I had a class and the ceremony was running long.  So today we had Let's Explore Paper Crafting and it was quilt cards.

So this weekend was really full.  I really am proud of Meigan it really was her weekend to shine.

There's A Card Thursday - April 20, 2017 - Delicate Details

This is another card that uses one of the Sale-A-Bration sets called Delicate Details.  I did not use this one as much as some of the other free sets but I really like it and will keep one.  I like that you can do so much with this set.  Though you can not get it any longer, if you have it try some new ideas with it.

So let's look at this card and how to make it.

Product List

Remember to try some new ideas with this set and don't forget to post them.  Starting May 1 I will be starting a new group on Facebook for everyone to post their work.  I hope you follow and participate.

#imbringingbirthdaysback

How many of you love getting a real card on your birthday,  not an electronic card, or the Face Book Wishes even though I love them also, but a real love to go to the mail box, open an envelope and wonder what great thing is inside?  I love getting birthday cards,  this year I only got 2 (I am sad).  Then I realized that I don't send out as many cards I have done in the past and I make them for a living.

What can I do about this, I am joining a movement started by Stampin' Up!s own Shannon West #imbringingbirthdays back. You can join also.  Just send your friends birthday cards, really to goodness birthday cards.

To make this even better e-mail me your birth date and address to send a card and I will send you a card for your birthday.  I can't guarantee it will arrive exactly on your birthday but I will mail it the month your birthday is.  Click here to e-mail me your information.

I can’t wait to get started.

Happy Birthday to you all.

Don’t forget to e-mail me your information
