Colorful Saturday, Challenge 3 July 13 2013

Welcome to Color Challenge 3.

Every Saturday I will choose a Color Combo from either the Annual Catalog or the current mini catalog.  I will make two cards or projects using that color combination. I then challenge you to make at least one card or project using that color combo and post a link in the comments section to either your blog post on the challenge or your pinterest photo.  A random winner will be chosen each Friday and announced on the next Saturday Challenge.  The winner will receive a goodie bag or a set of note cards.  We did not have any entries last week.  So the prize goes unclaimed. Today's Colorful Saturday Challenge is two very different colors a light soft color and a really bold color. We will be using Pistachio pudding and Island Indigo.  This color combination is found on Page 14 of the Annual 2013 - 2014 Catalog.

This was a hard one for me as I am not usually putting a light color with a darker color.  The first card I did was a take on the card Stampin' Up did on page 14.  I just used the Pistachio Pudding instead of the Whisper White.

A friend from my exercise class is moving so I made her a card from the class, I hope she likes it.

This card will be one of my Convention Swaps.  I really like the colors in this one, they really pop.
