My Swaps are done and I am almost ready for convention just a few reminders and things that are going on in the Stamping world.

Magnetic Platform
You all know I love the new Magnetic Platform and I think anyone who has the Big Shot needs the platform. Well I am not the only one. The Magnetic platform has been on back order a few times already. Stampin' Up! is now saying that they are going to make the Magnetic Platform unavailable for purchase until fall due to the shortage. They will start this on Thursday July 18th at 12:01 AM you can order it until then and it will be on back order and when their orders come in they will send you it but after that time you will not be able to order it until this fall. Here is what they say.
MAGNETIC PLATFORM UNAVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE

Due to an unfortunate backorder situation, the Big Shot Magnetic Platform (item 130658) will be temporarily turned off Thursday, July 18, at 12:01 AM (MT). This means that you and your customers won't be able to buy it until further notice. While we're thrilled to be offering a product that you and your customers clearly like, we regret not being able to anticipate just how much you would like it. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Here are answers to some of the questions you might have:
Why are you doing this?We went through what we thought would be a 13-week supply of the Magnetic Platform in just three weeks, and rather than continuing the backorder situation for you and your customers, we believe it's best to make it unavailable for purchase until we can replenish our inventory. Our supplier is working at capacity to meet our demand, and we will continue working closely with them to get the situation addressed as quickly as possible.
When will the Magnetic Platform be available?
We expect that it will be available early fall.

What if I already ordered it when it was on backorder?
We'll fill all closed backorders as we get more Magnetic Platforms in. We are receiving periodic shipments from our vendor and as soon as they come in we'll fulfill orders in the approximate order they were received.

On-line ordering for convention
I leave for convention on Wednesday Morning and will be there until Sunday. While I am gone For every $40 on-line order you place I will send you a goody bag filled with Stamping Accessories. Place two $40 orders you get 2 goody bags. Also if you use the hostesses code 9ZAJAA7X you will be entered into the drawing for the Hostess Rewards. The hostess code will be good until July 31 but the free goody bag offer ends on July 22 when I am home.

Holiday Mini Catalog
The Holiday Mini Catalogs should be arriving this week. I got mine today. So be on the look out for this catalog I sent you. If you do not receive one by July 30 please let me know and I will send you one. I love the catalog and we will have be having some classes from it.

Ladies Night Out July 26, 7:30—9:30 PM Bring a project to work on. Come enjoy friends and crafting. Cost is $5. You will have the use of all of my tools and scraps. Reserve your spot by July 23.

Mini Stamping Convention
All classes will be $5. each and the General will be free to all participants in any of the classes. Classes are limited to 5 participants per class. Please call and reserve your spot by August 1. Payment is also due if you cancel your participation.

1 – 2 PM Big Shot Basic Class – Learn the basics, how to make the sandwich for dies and folders.
2 – 3 PM Big Shot Advance Class – Learn some advance techniques with Impression Folders, using Edgelits and even how to cut material.
7 – 8 PM Paper Flower Making we will make three different kinds of 3D paper flowers
8 – 9 PM Decorate Clothes Pins

7 – 8 PM Card Holding Purse make a paper purse that holds your cards

Sunday August 11 1:30 – 4 PM General session Free to all participants of Mini Convention Classes if others would like to attend cost will be $10. There will be games and prizes, make and takes, look at new technique classes and fun stamping.
