I know it doesn't look like much and I have a ton of flower sets and even framelits, so it was not on my must have list.  

I saw so many great projects that I said I have to try it.  I know it takes a long time to make a flower, or at least I thought. Still had to try it.

So it came last Thursday but I was busy getting some classes ready so couldn't play with it until yesterday.  My first 4 cuts of the flowers were with Old Olive because that is the first one I saw.  I sponged on Old Olive, Early Espresso and Rich Razzleberry.  Now the sponging was the most time consuming.  I will have videos on this in the future sponging and then making the flowers.  I put one together with the petals up and one with them down.  I like the down ones better but I think the up one is a good look.  There are a few things I need to keep trying but I am hooked.  I just cut out 20 more flowers of different colors I am on my way to sponging them now.  Here is what I have don so far.

There's A Card Thursday - February 23, 2017 - Embellished Ornament Christmas Card

We start our Christmas Cards Early so we have them all done by Christmas and no rushing around to get them done ( ya sure, if you believe that I have  a Bridge to sell you), at least we try.  My Christmas Card class is every other month starting in February.  We do 10 cards 5 each of 2 designs.  We start out easy and then build to more complex ones.  So let's look at the first card in this series.

It is a pretty easy card to start with and it is pretty fun to make.  Also it goes through USPS for just one stamp.  I had a lot of cards come back needing more stamps even though they were not over 1/4" thick.   Let's make this one.

Instructions

1. With Emerald Envy Stamp the Ornament in a pattern on the Whisper White Card.  With the Real Red Marker fill in some of the berries on the ornament.
2. With Emerald Envy stamp the saying on the Real Red Card Stock and punch out with the Decorative label Punch
3. With Stampin’ Dimensionals attach the saying to the card front.

There's A Card Thursday - February 16, 2017 - By the Shore Note Card

Today I would love to show you a quick and easy card you can do.  I call this By the Shore Note Card as I am using By the Shore Designer Series Paper.

I really like easy card for doing Birthdays and Thank You cards as I do so many of those in a month.  Sometime I just like simple.  Here goes a real simple one.

How simple can this one get.  Love it.  Let's Take a look at this.

Instructions:

1. With Glue Dots Attach the Designer Series Paper to the Note Card Front.
2. With Dapper Denim Stamp Thank You on the Designer Series Paper.

Tips & Techniques Tuesday - February 14, 2017 - One Sheet Pouch

I did some card back a few weeks ago, they went with a card pouch and I wasn't able to get the pouch done and I promised you the pouch well I found the lost video so here is it.  I will also post the card video again after the pouch video so you have them together.

 So let's Look at how to do this pouch.



The listing of supplies are for my Christmas one but you can choose any Designer Paper and any Stamp sets.

Instructions:

1. Cut the 12 x 12 to 7 ½ x 12, with the rest of the Designer series Paper cut pieces 2 ¼ x 5 and 2 ¼ x 3 ½ you should have 3 of each save these for the cards.
2. Take the 7 ½ x 12 Designer Series Paper and with the 7 ½ at the top of the simply scored score at 1 7/8 and and 5 5/8. Then With the 12 at the top score at 5 5/8 and 6 3/8.
3. Fold all score lines totally unfold.
4. With the 7 ½ at top pinch closed the first score line ( 5 3/8 ) so the inside is together now fold over and fold so that score line meets the outside  1 7/8 score line It makes a triangle.  Do this to all four score lines two on each side.  Both 5 5/8 and 6 3/8 lines will be brought up or down to the 1 7/8 and 5 5/8 score line.  You will form a pocket.
5. Take your  3 ¾ x 4 ¾ coordinating Cardstock With the 4 ¾ at the top score at 2 and 2 ¾. Fold over.  Stamp or decorate the front.
6. Put Tear & Tape on the back side bottom half and attach to the top inside of the Designer Series Paper. Make sure you line up the score line with the top of the Designer Series Paper
7. Place Tear & Tape on the inside of the 4 side edges from the top to the newly folded triangle fold. Adhere this will form your pocket.
8. Take a Velcro Dot and attach the hook end to the card stock lip and then close and attach the other side to the front of the Box.
9. Decorate the box.
10. Now with the left over Designer Series Paper Stamps Ribbon Bakers Twine you can decorate your note cards.  I sued stamps on some and then I used Framelits on some.
11. Once your Cards and Envelopes are decorated place them in the pocket and close the box.  Great Gift to give.
