Tips & Techniques Tuesday - May 15, 2018 - 6X6 One Sheet wonder

If you are like me you have a ton of our great Designer Series Paper.  I don't just want to throw it away so I know I have to use it before we move.  I have a lot cut into 6 x 6 because of paper shares so I wanted to start with that.  So today I want to show you a one sheet wonder using 6 x 6 Designer Series paper.

These are just a few I have made.  So let's watch the video and you can see how you can use your Designer Series Paper.

You can do so much with designer series paper and just some great sayings.    So I would love to see what you can do with a  few sheets of 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.

So for everyone that comments with a photo of a link to a photo of what you made I would be happy to send you a card I made with this technique.

Today I want to give you a few hints on June's Paper Pumpkin.  The powers to be are tempting us with some interesting things and I just want to share with you.

Because perfectly coordinated products have always been one of Stampin’ Up!’s key strengths we designed June’s Paper Pumpkin kit as a stepping stone to a spectacular new Suite from the new 18 – 19 Annual Catalog.

Our uniquely designed June kit and coordinating suite give you the opportunity to expand your experience from crafting with a single kit to creating with a full range of products offered by Stampin’ Up! . . . and this in turn opens the door to being able to discover more about Stampin’ Up!’s full product line.

What Suite will it be?  Well you will have to check it out on June 1 and we will tell you. Until then let’s start the guessing.  To order your subscription click here

Now I really want this kit. I am hoping that is coordinates with Petal Promenade Suite or maybe the Tea Room Suite.  I can't wait.  How about you?

Tips & Techniques Tuesday - February 14, 2017 - One Sheet Pouch

I did some card back a few weeks ago, they went with a card pouch and I wasn't able to get the pouch done and I promised you the pouch well I found the lost video so here is it.  I will also post the card video again after the pouch video so you have them together.

So let's Look at how to do this pouch.

The listing of supplies are for my Christmas one but you can choose any Designer Paper and any Stamp sets.

Product List

Instructions:
  1. Cut the 12 x 12 to 7 ½ x 12, with the rest of the Designer series Paper cut pieces 2 ¼ x 5 and 2 ¼ x 3 ½ you should have 3 of each save these for the cards.
  2. Take the 7 ½ x 12 Designer Series Paper and with the 7 ½ at the top of the simply scored score at 1 7/8 and and 5 5/8. Then With the 12 at the top score at 5 5/8 and 6 3/8.
  3. Fold all score lines totally unfold.
  4. With the 7 ½ at top pinch closed the first score line ( 5 3/8 ) so the inside is together now fold over and fold so that score line meets the outside  1 7/8 score line It makes a triangle.  Do this to all four score lines two on each side.  Both 5 5/8 and 6 3/8 lines will be brought up or down to the 1 7/8 and 5 5/8 score line.  You will form a pocket.
  5. Take your  3 ¾ x 4 ¾ coordinating Cardstock With the 4 ¾ at the top score at 2 and 2 ¾. Fold over.  Stamp or decorate the front.
  6. Put Tear & Tape on the back side bottom half and attach to the top inside of the Designer Series Paper. Make sure you line up the score line with the top of the Designer Series Paper
  7. Place Tear & Tape on the inside of the 4 side edges from the top to the newly folded triangle fold. Adhere this will form your pocket.
  8. Take a Velcro Dot and attach the hook end to the card stock lip and then close and attach the other side to the front of the Box.
  9. Decorate the box.
  10. Now with the left over Designer Series Paper Stamps Ribbon Bakers Twine you can decorate your note cards.  I sued stamps on some and then I used Framelits on some.
  11. Once your Cards and Envelopes are decorated place them in the pocket and close the box.  Great Gift to give.

Here is the Card Video that goes with the pouch.

Can you Help Me?

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for 12 years now.  I have had my blog starting 5 years now. During that time I have presented you with free videos twice a week.  EIther cards or Techniques and Tips I have had over 1018 posts.

I hope you have enjoyed all the free cards, and Tips & Techniques.  I was hoping that the videos would make you want to to purchase your Stampin' Up products from me.  I have been working very hard to make it to the next demonstrator level and finally made it to Silver elite last year.  Now I would love to make it Gold, but I need to sell more Stampin' Up!  In fact I need to sell at least $200 more every month to make it. I don't get a lot of sales from my blog for all the work I put into it so I would like to ask you a favor Can you please make a purchase from me to help me make my goal.  This is a great time to do it as it is Sale-A-Bration where you get a free item for every $50 you order.
Click here to shop now and I will send you a handmade card for your order, you may also qualify for more rewards depending upon what amount you order, use the Hostess Code 9XK6B9YS, to qualify for them.

I really want to thank you for your help.  I really hope you enjoy all my videos and I hope I can continue to off them for free to you.

There's A Card Thursday - November 19, 2015 - Flurry of Wishes One Sheet wonder Cards

Today we will be putting together the cards from the one sheet wonder.  We made the one sheet wonder on Tips & Techniques Tuesday and if you haven't seen it click here and see the blog post and video.

I love one sheet wonders because you can make so many cards at once and they all look good. So let's look at how to put these together.

Product List

Wasn't that easy and it made 5 cards with extra left over.

Don't forget the retirement list for the Holiday catalog is out.

We're saying goodbye to retiring products from the holiday catalog; but before we do, we're giving everyone an opportunity to order their favorites. Retiring products will only be available until January 4, or while supplies last, so now's a great time to order them before they're gone!
