Stamp & Camp with Mary Campground Reviews January - February 2019

We spent some time in the Beginning of January in the Leaf Verde Campground in Phoenix AZ area.  We had Meigan with us for awhile and then sent her back to Michigan State.  We then stored our trailer and headed to Cheyenne for our Dr Appointments.  Hit snow and cold weather all the way up and back.  Had a great time staying with the Aldrichs and visiting our friends.  I even had a class at Michelle;s house it was fun.

We did run into some snow heading back to Phoenix was beautiful but glad we didn't bring the trailer.

We spent the night in Phoenix with friends and then picked up the trailer and we headed to Tucson.  We wanted to look at a 55+ Active Community Quail Run just outside of Tucson.  We really liked the area and the houses were nice.
We spent the time in the Tucson Lazyday KOA and had oranges, grapefruits and lemons all day long.  Had a lemon tree in our site.

Loved the campground the sites were nice and level.  Had clean bathrooms, a great restaurant, bar and the laundry was great Don said. Noticed that some of the sites had a roof over the area and it was all solar on the roof such great to see that they used their own Electricity.  The people were very friendly and we would go back to it again.

From Tucson we headed to Quail Ridge RV Resort Not Coast to Coast but they only charged $10 plus Electricity and taxes so we paid $13.63 a night.   Not the best campground but clean and nice.  We really don't care about a lot of amenities so it was good.  We spent some time at the Thing a road side attraction.  was fun.  Don didn't want to go but we had some time to kill before we could check into the campground so up we went.

First day we went to Bisbee and Tombstone it was fun and loved Bisbee Old town, loved the architecture of the house and colors so great to walk around downtown.

Tombstone was fun but I have to say wish we would have spent more time in Bisbee.

We went to Chiricahua National Monument for a day.  The government was  shut down so we didn't get to explore a lot but did get into the  park for a bit and had a hike and lunch.

We also went back to Wilcox and visited 2 more Wineries Love there wineries.  Love Wilcox Wineries.

Again the campground was nice and we will likely spend a month next year.  For the price you can't beat it.  I has an area for long term yearly camper and then for short termers.

When we left there we were heading to Big Bend  but spent one night back in the KOA in Las Cruces and then another night in Fort Stockton RV park so if you want to know about them we are return customers to both.  Next stop Big Bend. That will get it's own blog post.  See you soon on that one.

Happy Stamp & Camp with Mary
