Grandma's Rocking Chair - August 31. 2014 - Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlit

Grandma's Rocking Chair - Review of the New Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlit.

As some of you know I am hooked on boxes and also on the Big Shot so when I saw the new Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlit I had to get it.  I LOVE IT.

At first I just made plain boxes.

Then I saw a few other boxes people were making and I had to try something different.

So using the Tee-Hee-Hee set I made this box.

Then this weekend I went crazy and tried a few others.

How about this pumpkin isn't it great.

 Then this Santa I think I will give this at our Christmas Party.

I have about 10 others I want to do.  My youngest daughter loves elephants and I want to do one for her.

I just love these.  I have taken small ziplock treat bags and put M&M in them and some Hershey Kisses but they bounce around a bit.  Think I will go to the store and see what else will fit nicely in them.

Tips & techniques Tuesday - November 26, 2013 - More with Thankful Tablescape

Good Morning,

It is Thanksgiving week and I did get my Thanksgiving Cards out even though they may not get there by Thursday.  I made the cards and envelopes out of left overs from my Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit.  WE don't have a big Family here so I had a lot of left overs and thought I would get some use out of them.

There's A Card Thursday - October 16, 2013 - Thank You Card from Thankful Tablescape

Good Morning,

Well the weather is calling for a  Winter Storm today and tomorrow. I am not looking forward to it.  Friday night Miegan has a Youth Symphony Concert, so no holing up.  Saturday I have a Craft Fair to go to and since I have to set up that morning I hate walking through slush and snow.  Well we shall see if it does snow.

I have a class today using the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit.  On Tips & Techniques Tuesday I made the place settings but today I am doing something a little different.  We only have 4 people in our family here in Wyoming so we don't have a big Thanksgiving table, no need to label the dishes.  So I had 10 Table Tents with no use for us.  They are a great size for a small card.  3 x 4 is the folded size and the Chalkboard piece is super, I really hope they do more of that type of cardstock or chalkboard as I really like it. With the Table Tents I created Thank You cards using the Stamp Set Seasonal Sayings.

With Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper and the Envelope Punch Board you can create a great matching envelope.

Good Morning,

Well another week and it is cold today. Nice day to stay curled up in bed under a quilt with a good book.  You know when I retired I thought I would be doing a lot of that, or at least napping a little more.  I am lucking if I nap once every two or three weeks.  I love to nap.  Just curl up and sleep for a while then wake up and read.  Don't you love to do that.  Seems like I have less nap time now that I am retired than when I was working.  When I was working I usually got at least one nap in a weekend.  I still get up at 6 AM to go work out and then come home spend a few hours updating my blog and facebook and then downstairs to create.  Today I have dentist appointments for me and Meigan and then to Symphony for Meigan.  Maybe Friday  just one nap.

Well I know a really good time to nap and that is on Thanksgiving after you eat all the turkey and fixing. I guess I was dreaming about that when I made today's video.  On Tips & Techniques Tuesday I will show you the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit.
