Tips & Techniques Tuesday - July 17, 2018 - Embossing and Decorating 3x6 clear bags.

Today I want to show you some fun things you can do with the 3 x 6 clear bags we have.
Did you know that you can emboss these bags?  You can color them with the Stampin' Blends? You can fill them with great goodies?  Well let me show you how.

You can also use these techniques on other Cellophane bags and not just the 3 x 6 bags.

Let's look at how to do this.

Product List

Instructions:
  1. Ink up the Flower with Versamark and then Black Archival and Emboss with Clear Embossing powder Let cool.
  2. 2. Color with Stampin’ Blends.
  3. Score the Crushed Curry at 2” so you will have 3 ½ x 2”  This will slip into the bag nicely.
  4. I just left the Designer Series Paper plain but you could cut it with a punch or thinlit. You can also stamp on it and decorate it with embellishments.
  5. Fill the bag and they fold over and close with a few glue dots.  Place glue dots on the inside of the topper and place on the bag.

So now it is your turn to try this. I would love to see your decorated bags.

I am still hoping to make my Gold this month and I hope you can help me.

I will need to replace 3 of my team members this month and you can take part in a great recruiting special from Stampin' Up!

#imbringingbirthdaysback

How many of you love getting a real card on your birthday,  not an electronic card, or the Face Book Wishes even though I love them also, but a real love to go to the mail box, open an envelope and wonder what great thing is inside?  I love getting birthday cards,  this year I only got 2 (I am sad).  Then I realized that I don't send out as many cards I have done in the past and I make them for a living.

What can I do about this, I am joining a movement started by Stampin' Up!s own Shannon West #imbringingbirthdays back. You can join also.  Just send your friends birthday cards, really to goodness birthday cards.

To make this even better e-mail me your birth date and address to send a card and I will send you a card for your birthday.  I can't guarantee it will arrive exactly on your birthday but I will mail it the month your birthday is.  Click here to e-mail me your information.

I can’t wait to get started.

Happy Birthday to you all.

Don’t forget to e-mail me your information
