Welcome to Stampin' Addicts Winter Blog Hop.
Did you just come from Sara - Lily's Ink Pad, didn't she do a great job with the Festival Flurries Bundle. I love that Bundle and have done cards, tags and ornaments with it. Though the product I have chosen has changed my life. Well not really my life but maybe my crafting life.
I have chosen the Christmas Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit (132697). Well at first I made the Spooky Banner with the Halloween Banner Kit (132698) and the build a Banner Simply Created Kit (133507) and found out I loved doing it. So I bought two more Halloween Banners and bought 3 Christmas Banner I have a few of the refill Banner Simply Created Kit (132699). I really hope they sell well at my craft fairs, as I now have 6 banners.
Yes I love how they look but I also love making them. I love making the rosettes, the sponging them, experimenting with different ink coloring and just the fun of putting them together.
For this blog hop I have done 2 banners. The First was inspired by the banner in the Holiday Catalog.
I loved doing the rosettes. Here is a close up of one.
Here is a close up of how the pennant looks just with ink. I inked it with the sponge dauber I think it looks better with the sponge dauber.
The second banner was an off the cuff one. Here in Wyoming the first snow usually happens in October. Sure enough guess what is in the forecast for Friday here up to 6 inches of snow. Usually this early it doesn't stay long, at least I can hope. So my next banner is a snow banner.
I really enjoyed making these and had a lot of fun.
Hop you have enjoyed this stop on the hop.
