Grandma's Rocking Chair - March 13, 2016 - Special Birthdays

Some of you may know that Birthday's are pretty special to me.  This year in our family we had a really special birthday.  We celebrated my husbands 65th Birthday Last night.  Don is not as into Birthdays as I am so it has taken me 5 years to convince him to have a party. I love parties so we invited some friends and had way to much food but a good time was had by all.

The only thing I was disappointed in was the 6 foot sub.  I ordered a 6 foot sub and got 6 1 foot subs.I ordered a 6 foot because the girls wanted to see one. Was I disappointed when we opened it.  In fact I called the store and complained they said they had probably ran out of the 6 foot bread.  Oh Well I got half my money back.

How many of you love getting a real card on your birthday,  not an electronic card, or the Face Book Wishes even though I love them also, but a real love to go to the mail box, open an envelope and wonder what great thing is inside?  I love getting birthday cards,  this year I only got 2 (I am sad).  Then I realized that I don't send out as many cards I have done in the past and I make them for a living.
