Grandma's Rocking Chair - January 30, 2017 - Not really feeling old.

Saturday was my 60th Birthday.  People keep asking if I feel 60.  Sometimes I do especially in the morning but inside I still think I am 25.  I really don't feel like 60.  When I was young like in my 20s I thought 60 was really old and never thought I would be that old.  Now that I am that old I really don't think it is so old.  I still have tons of energy and have a lot of things I would like to do.  Though my knees hurt, my shoulder doesn't work right, and my back goes out, I do feel OK.

I have a ton of friends that showed up for my birthday party and that was really cool.  I have a great family that called all day long and my husband threw me a great party.

So I think I hit 60 pretty well.  I really don't feel that old.

There's A Card Thursday - September 15, 2016 - Playful Palette Birthday Card

OK  I sort of screwed up last week.  I should have had this as our There's A Card Thursday as it goes with the Tips & Techniques Tuesday we did last week.

So today I would like to show you what you can do with the Diagonal Paper Piecing.

This is a fun way to use up those scraps of Designer Series Paper.

Tips & Techniques Tuesday - September 13, 2016 - Tip for using the Builder Punch

Today I would like to offer you a Tip when Using a builder Punch.

I know how frustrating it is to stamp something and then want to punch it out and realize that it doesn't line up.  Well watch this video and see what you can do about it.

How many of you love getting a real card on your birthday,  not an electronic card, or the Face Book Wishes even though I love them also, but a real love to go to the mail box, open an envelope and wonder what great thing is inside?  I love getting birthday cards,  this year I only got 2 (I am sad).  Then I realized that I don't send out as many cards I have done in the past and I make them for a living.

Grandma's Rocking Chair - March 13, 2016 - Special Birthdays

Some of you may know that Birthday's are pretty special to me.  This year in our family we had a really special birthday.  We celebrated my husbands 65th Birthday Last night.  Don is not as into Birthdays as I am so it has taken me 5 years to convince him to have a party. I love parties so we invited some friends and had way to much food but a good time was had by all.

The only thing I was disappointed in was the 6 foot sub.  I ordered a 6 foot sub and got 6 1 foot subs.I ordered a 6 foot because the girls wanted to see one. Was I disappointed when we opened it.  In fact I called the store and complained they said they had probably ran out of the 6 foot bread.  Oh Well I got half my money back.
