Tips & Techniques Tuesday - March 26, 2018 - 2, 4, 6, 8 Box

You know I love to make cards but I also love making boxes.  I found this great box and really love making them  I call it the 2, 4, 6 and 8 box as you score at 2, 4, 6 and 8.  You can make it's length almost any length you want.


So how many of you love boxes and would love to make this one?  Let's see how to do it.

Instructions:
1 - With the 11 at top Score at ½, 2 ½, 8 ½ and 10 ½
2 - With Short Side at top score at 2, 4, 6, and 8
3 - Now cut out all the boxes with Xs

    4 -  Cut up the remaining sides to the large long areas and round the two long flaps if you want to 
         Now fold all scores
    5 -  Put tear & Tap on the area marked 1 and before you pull it off make sure you burnish it really well with a bone folder or block.  Remove tear & Tap and attach to the opposite side forming a box.  This box can be folded flat until needed to be filled.
   6 -   To Decorate Suggestion Stamp and Punch out 2 daisies and with glue dots glue together.  Stamp the center and punch out and with glue dot glue on the center of the daisy.  With Glue Dots attach the Designer Series Paper.  Stamp the Thank You on the 1 x 4 and then punch out the banner.  7 - Attach the Daisy and banner to the box with Stampin’ Dimensionals and tie ribbon around the box.
