There's A Card Thursday - July 10, 2014 - Chevron Christmas Card

Today is another There's A Card Thursday and Christmas Cards.  I am hoping I am inspiring you to get going on those Christmas.  It never is to early to start on those great cards.

Today I am using a a non-traditional stamp to make this card.  It is the Chevron Background stamp.

So I really have to ask - Have you started your cards yet?

Grandma's Rocking Chair - April 13, 2014 - Paper Piercing Packs

Grandma's Rocking Chair - Reviewing Paper Piercing Packs.
I will have to admit I have not used these very much.  I think I have done maybe 3-4 cards using these.  Though I have all the sets and really think I would like them. I store them in my embossing and tool draw, with my mats, my heat gun, my paper piercer and they get down to the bottom and I really don't see them.

Today I was cleaning my stamp room, well I really was moving everything out of it so we could have the carpet cleaned.  While I was hauling everything out I went through a lot of my stuff to see if I could lighten the load for our upcoming move.  I found all of my Paper Piercing templates again and I fell in love all over.  I can see how to use them to make great cards, highlighting stamps and punches and also framelits now.  I have so many ideas.  I think the heart one would be great to use to highlight a Shape card.  I really want to get out and try them again.  I have to wait until the carpets are cleaned and I have time to play.  I have to make a few more videos so you may see one or two using the Paper Piercing Packs.

There's A Card Thursday - March 13, 2014 - Watercolor Wonder and Countless Sayings Birthday Card

OK   I know I really lover the Watercolor Wonder Designer Note Cards and Envelopes and you are probably pretty tired of all the cards I have done with them, but this card is so cute.

I really like the new Photopolymer set Countless Blessings 1 and 2.  For this card I used Countless Blessings 2
 

I really love these sets, they are so much fun.  The card you will see takes only a few minutes to complete and really is a great looking card.  Easy and Cute.

I hope you like this one and I will try not to use the Watercolor Wonder Designer Note Cards again, but I can't promise as I love them.

Stampin' Up! has a new Personalized Stamp it is called Say it your Way.

At first I thought another stamp set that you can put your address on.  Though I liked it because it was a photopolymer I thought Big Deal.   Then I went it to order and I ordered 6 of them.  I just couldn't stop.

And you know not one of them has my address on it, so I guess I will have to order again.  I hope I can contain myself.

So why am I so excited.  Well I love to stamp my cards, like the old Hallmark commercial, where everyone flips it over to see if it's from Hallmark,  I like for them to see it is from me.  I would like them to know about Mary's Stamping Happenings if they would like to follow this blog.  Then I would like to stamp on my Stamping in the Mail Class Cards.  On and On and On.  I created more than I ordered, so I may go back again.

Here’s how it works

The First of each month I will post (http://marysstampinghappenings.blogspot.com, newsletter and https://www.facebook.com/MaryTrautnerStampinUp ) the stamp set and projects for that month. The Stamp set will be a current Stamp Set between $14.95 and $16.95.  You will receive 3 finished full cards or projects using that set, instruction for making those cards and enough supplies that you can also finish each of those cards on your own. Cost including mailing to you will be $33 for clear Mount and $39 for wood mount*.  If you have this stamp set you may substitute another stamp set of same price but you must let me know when you opt in each month or you will receive the stamp set for that month.  You do not have to make a long term commitment you can participate month by month. But if you order 3 Consecutive months in your fourth month order you will get a present worth between $4.95 and $5.95.

Timeline

1^st of Month posting of Stamp Set and Projects

1^st – 10^th of Each month e-mail me at marysstamping@gmail.com if you would like to participate that month.

1^st – 10^th I will send out pay-pal invoices for payment.  You may either mail me payment or use pay-pal to pay me. 

10^th Payment must reach me by 4PM on this date.  If I do not have payment I will not be ordering for you that month.  If your payment comes in late I will either return it or you can credit it for the following month.

10^th I will order all stamp sets and other supplies needed for your class.

10^th – 20^th I will be assembling your cards and supplies.

21^st  - 25^th I will mail your Stamping in the Mail.

For Cheyenne residents who participate you will be able to participate in a free assembly of these projects on the 4^th Sunday of the Month at my resident from 1:30 – 4:00 PM ( you may pick up your stamp set and projects at that time).
