Using Window Sheets and a new technique, for some great cards, on There's A Card Thursday

So in Tips & Techniques Tuesday I showed you the Stampin' Blend Smoosh Technique.  You can view it here

I love this technique as you can make so many different appearing cards with it.

This is the one we will make in the video below.

So let's get to it.

Product List

Supplies: Stamp Set - Curvy Christmas [155364]; Ink – NOTE You can use any Stampin’ Blends I used Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Markers Combo Pack [144598], Shaded Spruce Combo Pack Stampin' Blends [147938], Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad [132708]; Card Stock - Whisper White 8 ½ x 5 ½  [100730], Cherry Cobbler 2 x 3  [119685], Window Sheets 2 - 4 x 5 ¼  [142314]; Designer Series Paper - ‘Tis The Season 6" X 6" [153489]; Accessories - Mini Glue Dots [103683], Stampin' Dimensionals [104430], Timeless Label Punch [149516], Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine [149653], Curvy Dies [154319], Spritzer or Spray Bottle with Rubbing Alcohol, Embellishments from Paper Pumpkin.

Instructions:

  1. Scribble Stampin’ Blends on one Window Sheet you can do a couple of colors. Spritz the Window Sheet with Rubbing Alcohol. You may have to smear it with your fingers.
  2. Place the other window sheet over the alcohol window sheet.  Smush down and then separate. You will have to dry these maybe overnight.
  3. Once Dry attach the Blend Smush Window Sheet to the Whisper White Card
  4. I took some 3 x 6 inch pieces of the Tis the Season and using the curves from the Curvy Dies ran them through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.
  5. I then laid them out how I wanted them and then attached them to the card front
  6. With Memento Black I stamped the saying on the Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and punched out.
  7. With Stampin’ Dimensionals attach the saying to the card front.
  8. I then decorated the card with stickers from a Paper Pumpkin I had left over.  I tried to cover some of the glue dots that showed through.

How do you like it?  Let me know if you use this technique or send a photo of the card you make.

Such a great and Colorful Technique on Tips & Techniques Tuesday

Get your blends out, we are going to try a new technique.  I call this one the Blender Smoosh Technique.

What do you use.  Blends, acetate and rubbing alcohol, you also need the urge to get inky fingers.

We use to do something similar with Stampin' Write Markers, Water Acetate and water color paper. It is very similar.

These are just a few of the dried Smooshed Acetate.
Here is just one card I have made with this technique.

Let's Look at the Technique and then on There's A Card Thursday I will be putting a card together using the ones made today.

Don't you just love getting inky.

This is a great month to join Stampin' Up! and be on the Happening Stampers Team.  We are doing a pre-order for the Jan - June Catalog and you can put any of the products in your Starter Kit if you wish.  All for $99 and you can choose $125 of new products before anyone else can.  Get that Dany Garden Suite before your friends. There's A Card Thursday - February 8, 2018 - Heartfelt Blooms with Stampin' Blends

So what could be better for a card - using your new favorite free stamp set and your new favorite coloring pens, the Stampin' Blends.   So I really loved making this card.  I used Heartfelt Blooms and the Stampin' Blends.  One of the things I like about stamping is the ability to color.  I love to color, even before adult coloring books I would color my daughters color books so this is great for me.  I love Heartfelt Blooms it is my favorite set from Sale-A-Bration I love that it does not look like anything it is when you stamp it.  It uses a special new stamp finish called Distinktive! Stamps that Stampin' Up! developed.  So you really have to have this stamp to see what it can do.

Besides coloring it it looks really nice in just one color.  I will be showing more cards made with this set but wanted you to see this great set if you want it to pop by coloring it.  It really lloks like you can just pick that flower.
So let's Look at the video

Tips & Techniques Tuesday - December 26, 2017 - Blender Pens and Plastics

So would you like to turn these cheap ugly push pins

into something that looks like theses

I had been looking for push pins for my new Brushos and found the clear ones for a really good deal so instead of the colorful fancy ones I was really good and went with the cheap ones.
Got home and they looked so dull pushed into those Brushos  so I tried or Stampin' Write Markers but they just beaded up and came off.  Next I tried the Stampin' Blends, and they were amazing. Check out this video.

Don't you love them and so easy to make and save money.  I use to buy the girls special colors for the main bulletin board now I will make the cheap ones.
All you need is push pins and Stampin' Blends.
