There's a Card Thursday - December 5, 2013 _ Snowflake Soiree Thank You

Good day for a Snowflake card.  We got 6 inches yesterday and last night the low was -35 - Fahrenheit.  I would love to stay curled up in bed today with a good book and hot tea, but I have a ton of things to do, before my last minute Christmas Gift and Card party so I will be working it out today.  I hope it gets warmer than -5 predicted.  Oh well we are lucky to have a good home and heat.

As I was going to do my card yesterday I noticed that I was almost out of Whisper White. I have an order in for it but it hadn't arrived so I changed things up a bit and used an idea from Melody Tess Rollins.  I really love how simple and quick it is.  I need to make about 20 Thank You cards and could probably do them in under 30 minutes, if I only had Whisper White.  For now I will make 4 and use some Very Vanilla.

Let's see the Cards you will receive and with them the supplies and instructions to make them yourself.

This is a great Birthday Card. Don't you just love his tongue.

This would make a good card for your sweet heart.

I never seem to have a Get Well Card around when I need one and this one was a fun card to make.

So you will get the Stamp Set Tag It, all three cards and supplies and instructions to make them yourself. 

Cost including mailing to you will be $33 for clear Mount and $39 for wood mount. To Order e-mail me at marysstamping at gmail.com if you would like to participate this month. I will send you a paypal invoice or arrange other payment method. You may also include other items in your order.

Stamping in the Mail Guidelines

Here’s how it works

The First of each month I will post (http://marysstampinghappenings.blogspot.com, newsletter andhttps://www.facebook.com/MaryTrautnerStampinUp ) the stamp set and projects for that month. The Stamp set will be a current Stamp Set between $14.95 and $16.95.  You will receive 3 finished full cards or projects using that set, instruction for making those cards and enough supplies that you can also finish each of those cards on your own. Cost including mailing to you will be $33 for clear Mount and $39 for wood mount*.  If you have this stamp set you may substitute another stamp set of same price but you must let me know when you opt in each month or you will receive the stamp set for that month.  You do not have to make a long term commitment you can participate month by month. But if you order 3 Consecutive months in your fourth month order you will get a present worth between $4.95 and $5.95.

1^st of Month posting of Stamp Set and Projects

1^st – 10^th of Each month e-mail me at marysstamping at gmail.com if you would like to participate that month.

1^st – 10^th I will send out pay-pal invoices for payment.  You may either mail me payment or use pay-pal to pay me. 

10^th Payment must reach me by 4PM on this date.  If I do not have payment I will not be ordering for you that month.  If your payment comes in late I will either return it or you can credit it for the following month.

10^th I will order all stamp sets and other supplies needed for your class.

10^th – 20^th I will be assembling your cards and supplies.

New Photopolymer Stamp Sets from Stampin' Up!

As most of my regulars know I have two favorite go to stamp sets - Lovely As A Tree and Teeny Tiny Wishes, I use other sets but these are the sets in a pinch I pull out. Well I now have to add another one.  I like the photopolymer stamps from Stampin' Up!.  I like how they stamp, how they feel and some of the sets that have come out so far. I don't sell a lot mainly because I believe they are not in the catalog and they are hard to find.  I have showed them a few times but they really aren't a go to set for my classes.  Well that is going to change.  I always need Thank You cards and a lot of my classes especially the technique classes we make Thank You Cards. I got the Another Thank you set a few weeks ago and really haven't played with it much.  But I needed to do a quick and easy thank You card so I grabbed it the other day and decided that the big thank you would be easy no embellishments just a quick card.

I have fallen in love with it.  Yes you will be seeing a lot more of this set.  I have now set it out on my work table and you will be seeing more of it.  If you don't have it, you really should get it, if you make Thank You Cards.  Big to small thank yous and I just love how they look, so many different styles.

So using the Big Thank You I am creating packs of Cards to sell at the craft fairs this year. Here is another one just different colors.

Colorful Saturday Card Making, Project Challenge 2 July 6

Welcome to the  Second Colorful Saturday Challenge.


Every Saturday I will choose a Color Combo from either the Annual Catalog or the current mini catalog.  I will make two cards or projects using that color combination. I then challenge you to make at least one card or project using that color combo and post a link in the comments section to either your blog post on the challenge or your pinterest photo.  A random winner will be chosen each Friday and announced on the next Saturday Challenge.  The winner will receive a goodie bag or a set of note cards.  We did not have any entries last week.  So teh prize goes unclaimed. This and That Updates

Well since I am up at 5 AM on a snow day I thought I might as well update you on everything that is going on at Stampin' Up! and remind you of some classes.

A reminder about the Guess the Retirement List Game.

The Retirement list comes out around the 24th of this month.  So you have until April 19th Midnight to get me your list of retirement Stamp Sets.  You may choose 20 sets you think will retire, the person that has the most on the real retirement list will receive a prize.  Just e-mail me your list by Midnight April 19.  So ready Set go.

April Techniques Class will be Sunday April 21 1:30 to 3:30 or Tuesday April 23 10:00 AM to Noon. We will be doing a project or advance card Technique.   After we do the technique you will be able to create some cards using these techniques.  Cost is $15, free with a $30 order.
