Making Cards on this cold day

After Church today I came back home and edited a video or two and then Kayla's semi-boyfriend came over so I was downstairs making cards and keeping an eye on them.  Thought you would like to see some of the things I created today.

These two I made with the Boutique Boxes Designer Printed Kit. 129306 $7.95  Comes with 8 boxes. They are so Cute.  The fit business cards, gift cards, and they come with 8 note cards that also fit nicely into the boxes.  I think I will fill these up for my next Party and if someone books a workshop/party they can have one filled with goodies.

I made these with the Artisan Embellishments Kit and vintage Verses from Sale-A-Bration.  So different from what I normally do and so fun to create.

Meigan and I worked hard on two new videos for Tips & Techniques Tuesday today.  I will give you a hint on one.

I am busy editing them.  Along with trying to get my Youtube channel to say Mary's Stamping Happenings or something like that rather than nuhddad.  I may have to make a whole new channel.  But I have also been playing with some make and takes for a few Parties in March.  Would you all like a peak?  Just leave a comment and if I get five comments I will post the photos.

I have been playing with my new toys, especially the Artisan Embellishment Kit and the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit.  You might see some photos of my creations tomorrow on those.

Girls Night Out Tonight

Tonight is girls night out and I am so looking forward to it.

Great techniques Class

Class today was great.  We created the Tri-fold card.

Then we created several other tri-fold cards and I showed them all how to make envelopes with teh Simply Scored tool.

It was fun.  We are doing it again on Tuesday.  I love showing new techniques.

In March we are doing the Triple Layer card.  Reserve your spot fast.

Got in at 2 AM this morning.  Very Long day.  It was fun and the girls had a great time.

A great Concert and an afternoon at the zoo

The concert was great.  They did a super job.  I was going to video it but couldn't as they said no videos or photos  SO I have a few from warm up and after.

After the concert we then went to the zoo.  I saw an old friend that I haven't seen in 20 years or more. It was a great zoo and we had a super time.

It was a good day today.  Heading home tomorrow

4 Ladies one bathroom what time do you get up

6:00 Am and they are almost all ready.  So we are heading out for breakfast and then back to dress for the concert.  Isn't it nice to have 3 young ladies who are so great.

We made it to Portland

Got up early and left early  made it to Denver.  Only had one miss the bus but they made it to Denver just as we did.  I slept most of the flight.  We arrived at the Hotel and went for lunch.  Our group went to Veggie Grill while everyone else went to Pizza.  Then instead of the Japanese Gardens we had the afternoon on our own.  My girls wanted to practice first then we went and played 3-D Mini glow in the dark golf.  It was fun.

We are heading to the mall for dinner and to pick up some black tights which we forgot.  Then early morning for the concert

Getting Ready to Travel

Thursday Meigan and I are heading to Portland OR with the Cheyenne Youth Symphony.  Friday they perform for the Northwest Music Teachers Workshop.  Big thing for them.  She is in practicing now and is so excited to be going.  I promise I will post while we are there.  Should be fun I am going to meet a friend that I have never met in person but have known for 13 years.  Meigan's half sister might be there.  We are sure to have fun.

Sunday and Learning something new.

No new card making techniques but it is technical.  I have just loaded and signed up for SKYPE.  So Kayla and I have been trying to use it.  I know modern technology but it is pretty good, for an old f..
Next big thing I need to do is get to know and use Google Hangouts.  I have to use my lap top for all of these as my PC has no camera.  I really need and I-Pad.

Making Cards all Day Long

Well not all day but most of the day.  It did snow not a lot but it is icy and slippery out.  I had to Meigan to the Library when it started then had to drop her off at the Cheyenne Youth Symphony Dinner so she could play. But that is it no more out doors.  I went downstairs into my beautiful craft room and created.

I have been wanting to try to may the Quint-Essential Flower that is on Page 110 of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog and I want to brighten things up with the snow.  So I Started with what I think is one of the most happy colors Stampin' Up! has and that is Melon Mambo.  I then tried to figure out what other colors went with it.  I came up with this card.

Doesn't it just say Happy.

Since I hate to waste anything  and I had a few of the flowers with parts punched out I had to come up with something else. So using the over pieces from Quint-Essential Flowers and Collage Curios from teh Spring Mini I came up with these cards.

Yesterday I got a new set  By the Tide from the Spring Mini and I had to try it out.  I think it will make great men cards.  I am still not all that thrilled with the colors in this card but I do love Cajun Craze.

I think I will emboss the Lobster and maybe Spritz it with some Blue Glimmer Spray to give an Ocean look.

So that is what I created today.  I have made a decision that I need another Stampin' Up! word set.  I have Teeny Tiny Wishes - which is my main go to set but today I found them a little small, I have Loving Thoughts but but just not the right words today.

A day to Stay in and Stamp

OK today calls for snow.  Though it has called for snow before and we have yet to get a lot.  It does give me a good excuse to head down stairs and create.  I will be prepping for my Techniques class next weekend.  Putting together my downline meeting and just having fun stamping. So if you don't here from me for awhile you know where I will be .
