Grandma's Rocking Chair Question for the day - when do you Demonstrators know about Stampin' Up! specials?

This is a difficult question.  Sometimes we know in advance about specials such as Sale-A-Bration, which we kown when it comes every year and what it is.

Now we have the weekly deals we know that they change on Tuesdays, we may not know what is going to be on each special but we know every Tuesday we get between 6 - 8 specials.

 

Sometimes Stampin' Up! Surprises eve us and says starting today we are hiving a special on Paper Pumpkins or Sale on Designer Series paper or a common one is we have a special if someone signs up as a demo we will give them X,Y, or Z.

We demonstrators said that is not really helpful for our business since we can't inform our customers timely. So lately they have been announcing a special before hand at least a few days.  Some times like this time with the free shipping they announced that they would be announcing something even before hand.  So on Tuesday we heard that there would be announcement on Friday - what that announcement was we didn't know but it involved both us and our customers.  So on Friday the announcement was made that there would be free shipping from April 6 - 10th. Some folks who ordered on Tuesday were upset that I didn't know about this on Tuesday so they could have waited, even though they used Sale-A-Bration and got some free items they thought the free shipping was better.  Well I knew the announcement was coming and I said something about it in my blog and my newsletter but I really didn't know what it would be.  We all found out about it on Friday.

So I try to tell you the day i hear about specials coming out so you have as much time as I do to prepare.  I hope that helps you.
