Stamp & Camp with Mary There's A Card Thursday - July 9, 2020 - Shimmer Paint Wash with Ornate Style

Are we still staying home and staying safe?  I know that it getting long.  We have a few days of camping coming up and I can't wait.

Today I want to show you a new technique using Shimmer Paint and creating a beautiful card.  It is a fairly easy card and you can really use any refills to get the color you want.

Supplies: Stamp Sets - Ornate Style [152572], Lovely You [152525]; Ink - Bermuda Bay Refill [131156], Tuxedo Black Memento [132708]; Card Stock - Bermuda Bay 8 ½ x 5 ½  [131197], Gorgeous Grape 3 ¼ x 2 ¾  [146987], Whisper White 2 ½ x 3, Scrap [100730]; Accessories - Timeless Label Punch [149516], Frost White Shimmer Paint [147046], Water Painters [151298], Mini Glue Dots [103683], Stampin' Dimensionals [104430].

Instructions:
  1. Mix Re-inker with Shimmer Paint and Rubbing Alcohol in a spritzer and then Spritz a Scrap of Whisper White.
  2. Mix a little of Shimmer Paint with Bermuda Bay Refill.  I used a block to mix on.  Mix until you get a color you like.  It will not be a consistent color and is not suppose to be.
  3. Pick it up with the Water Painters or a small artist brush and wash over the Whisper White. Let Dry.
  4. TIP: Make sure you clean your water painter or brush as it will be very sticky.
  5. With Memento Black stamp your Saying on the Timeless Label
  6. Once Dry Stamp the Single Daisy on the Painted Wash Whisper White.
  7. Attach the Daisy to the Gorgeous Grape.
  8. Attach the Daisy to the Bermuda Bay Card Front
  9. With Stampin’ Dimensionals attach the saying to the card front.
