Grandma's Rocking Chair - September 28, 2014 - Halloween Decorations

Grandma's Rocking Chair Question -  I like to stamp and do paper crafting what can I do for Halloween.

I love Halloween and Trick and Treating.  I decorate  our house really well and enjoy everything about it except taking down the cob webs  I hate that job.

We usually have about 300 kids come for trick or treat in our neighborhood.  So we don't buy candy it is to expensive I usually make bookmarks and the kids love them well at least most of them.  I do have kids that say no candy I tell them not at this house.

This year I have about 150 done so far.  I also sell them to some friends who are teachers so I will be making about 600 this year.  I am using Tee-Hee-Hee for the stamp set.
I love the saying and the items that go with them.  Such as the Witch's Hat and "if the hat fits"

Here is one of my book marks.
If we didn't have so many kids I would make some of the Curvy Keepsake Boxes to give out.  Right now I am selling them at my craft fairs. These Halloween Character ones  will sell for a little more than my plain ones.

Here are some of my plain ones using just Designer Series Paper.

Remember if you order the Curvy Keepsake box Framelit from me I will send you two kits  to make these boxes yourself.  Click Here to order your Curvy Keepsake Box Framelit.
So there are some of the things I would be giving out for Halloween.  What about Decorations?
Well the one I really love is the Frightful Wreath Simply Created Kit.

If you would like to see more Fall/Halloween Decorations Check back here on my Blog on Tuesday September 30 for the Fall in Love with Fall Decor Blog Hop to see 10 great blogs all on fall Decor.

These are just some things you can do for Halloween with Ink, Paper and Stamps.

Hope you have enjoyed this little discussion.

Grandma's Rocking Chair - September 7, 2014 - Frightful Wreath

Today's Grandma's Rocking Chair will be about the Frightful Wreath Simply Created Kit.

I just have to say I just love this kit.  I have put two together so far.  I had a class on it and everyone loved it.  You can put it together according to instructions or vary it a little or a lot. Above is according to instructions below I varied it.
It is a little hard to see with my Black Apron but the Spider is hanging in the middle instead of the Rosette.

The only negative comment I got was that it was harder to put the spider together than they thought. They thought it should have been put together before.  Then I said it would have only taken them 10 minutes to put it together.

Here are some of my friends with their wreaths.  They really had a good time.

Here is the information for the Frightful Wreath Simply Created Kit.
